Blast from the past - amazing childhood memories
This game is so fun! If playing on a game boy color or newer - you can see the beautiful color!! Had this game as a child but lost it and buying this again was great. Pick it up it's not your average Mario game where you save the princess - this time Mario has to reclaim his castle from the evil invader Wario! Excellent Rom Hack
Super Mario Land 2 DX is a Rom hack of Super Mario Land 2 except now in full color and Luigi is now a playable character. The added color is really well done and welcome. With the added color, it almost looks like a 16-bit game. This speaks not only well of the author of the Rom hack but also of the original development team. Luigi is a nice added bonus; although, it's more cosmetic as Luigi doesn't seem, to at least me, to have his normal platforming physics and seems to have Mario's instead. One of the Best Game Boy Games + Another Mario Classic!
Easily one of the best games released for the original Game Boy and one of the rare sequels that surpasses it's predecessor. 6 Golden Coins is a another platforming gem in a long line of excellent Mario games. This particular one has Mario running and jumping as usual with new enemies and power-ups. In a rather drastic change from the first Super Mario Land which plays functions similarly to Super Mario Bros., Mario Land 2 has a world map that branches to six different "Zones" plus various other levels, allowing the player to choose their own path (to a degree) and save after any given level. great game with few flaws
super mario land 2 is a great improvement over the original for cheap aswell and the gameplay is a huge step up, the sprites are bigger and the physics are fixed. mario even has his signature spin attack move that was introduced in super mario world. you can also save in this game which is awesome but there are a few pros and cons which i will go over briefly
pros:
1. the physics are changed from the original making it feel just like super mario bros 3 or super mario world
2. you can now save which is awesome
3. it's a good and cheap game that you can pretty much find everywhere
4. it's the introduction of Wario which is a cool character
5. it's a good and not difficult at all game
cons:
1. it's only one player
2. wario's castle at the end is a bit too difficult but its not major

Very impressive graphics for a Game Boy game. I almost bought the color DX version, though it's unofficial, however if you're playing this in your Game Boy Advance (Or Color likely) you still get a bit of color in the game.
