Game review: Super return of the jedi

This is one of the few games that were born from movies and actually turn out to be a master piece!(usually they suck really bad! Rambo for Nes or Batman for the SNES.) But this game will keep you infront of the TV for a long time EVEN if you have never EVER seen the movies.
The title screen has that wierd monkey that follows jaba the hut around. That will make you smile. The first level is really intresting. You control a cool ship (I don't know whats it called sorry) and you collect the rebel symbols to beat the level. The next level you get to choose between 3 characters: Skywalker equiped with a light sabre able of using the force (and by that I mean he can actully make the sabre fly around like a psychic, among other tricks). The hairy dude (chu-baca) equiped with a gun that can be upgraded like 5 times. Lastly Leia has 2 diffrent looks: the first is boring so lets skip it but, the second one is much better (she looks sexy) using a flail as a whip makes me think this game should be rated at T for teen... It's a sexy 16-bit-gal what can i say! you also get a few more awsome characters. The game has easy, normal, and hard mode for the gamefreaks like me and a master code that can help the noobs (newbies). ( I don't encourage cheating but this is only for your information). The game came out in 94.... I think.So, if you like good graphics in a game don't expect much for a 14 year old game. REMEMBER! SUPER Return of the Sidescroll!

This game has so many more reasons to play than the first two Super Star Wars entries. A password system that works, much more iconic canon characters and fun (even ewok friends) to control. Every new chapter was a much more engaging and fantastical reimagining than the original film could pull off. I love this title for jt's nostalgic flavor and very aggressive, yet easy to master boss fights throughout! Definitely worth a buy 9.5/10 on SNES.Read full review...

Great Star Wars game

To talk about what graphics used to be during the SNES era, I can say Nintendo went very far to make this game what it is. The graphics, the sound, the gameplay, the attacks, everything is great! I remember I couldn't stop playing it when a little kid, and it stills gives me a little trouble getting through it (considering it's been long since I played it, lol)
After this Star Wars game, I haven't really liked other Star Wars.
If you're looking for some old SNES game, this one should be between your choices.Read full review...

Super Return of the Pain (this game is hard).

This game, while fairly faithful to the movies, is incredibly difficult. Not as hard as its Empire Strikes Back counterpart, but still very difficult.

The graphics are nice and there are several playable characters on most levels. Songs are mostly midi samples of Jon Williams' original score.

Thankfully there is a password system for this game.

Worth picking up for Star Wars fans looking for both a challenge and a quality title on the SNES.Read full review...
