Simple effective and well made!
I used this to head up a river course into my pond. Easy to install and get levels right etc. Only recommendation I would make to manufacturer is to make an entry at rear too. Sides scuppered my plans but I got round it!Read full review...

Pipe connections?
The filter box pipe connections are 39mm or 26.4mm while my pump has 20mm, 25mm or 32mm!
So added problems for me to connect, needless to say I have had to purchase two lengths of pipe 1 x 38mm & 1 x 32mm plus a reducer 38mm to 32mm. Added expense when all that is required is the box to have more size options on the inlet attachment.

Disappointed
Bought this unit and expected so much as had a trouble getting the waterfall to come out as waterfall. It comes out as the waterfall way but not in a way the same as the picture. It's like the waterfall but falling backward i.e the water does fall in a forward way but backward way. Tried every position and tried (believe me) anyway to make it work but no way, it does not work properly. So disappointed as I thought that it cost too much but waterfall and filter combined might worth the cost. No!!! Simply does not work. Picture so misleading. Waterfall fountain and filter
Bigger than I expected. I bought some aquagrogs to go in ontop of the bio balls but was amazed there were lots if bio balks and two layers of filter foam. I had an outlet soare on my pump so connected it to that. Put some rocks around it and few slates ontop.i added a waterproof light that sits ontop of the pebbles I put on shelf. It works perfectly and great difference in oxygen and water quality in my pond. Works as an extra to my other pumps and filtration. I love it. Arrived quickly.Read full review...

Just the job....
This is just right for my purpose. I had a 3000lph pump which filled up my filter too fast resulting in it overflowing. Rather than buying a smaller pump I changed to this filter/waterfall and I would say that this size pump is just right. I would think that smaller pumps would be too slow to allow the water to fall vertically which is a problem another reviewer had. This one flows perfectly. I think you would be alright with 3000lph and over. The lip of the waterfall is about 50cm above water level and the base of the filter is about 10cm from water level. All the information you need is in the enclosed leaflet and recommends pump (lph) sizes for the following heights above pond level - 0-50cm is 2000-4000lph, 50-100cm is 3000-6000lph and 100-150cm is 5000-10,000lph.Read full review...
