I WANTED THIS TO BE SO GOOD! ...VERY, VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE me some General Zod! ..And Zod has some of the biggest Superman villains to join him to take down Superman once and for all? Man, I got this book instantly! But then, sadly, the sheer disappointment begins! Andy Kubert should've been the permanent Superman comic book artist! Kubert only draws the covers and not the entire book! (Groan.) And the writer horribly drops the ball here! I wanted to see Superman fight and do battle with the new Superman Villain Squad all by himself, with no help at all, while the villains televised this battle for the whole world to see! But, in this book, Superman is literally blind and has a bunch of his superhero friends fighting his battles for him. (Double-Triple blue Kryptonite lame. Now groan harder than before, Kal-El fans.)Read full review...
