Great compass
At first..it is confusing to use but once you get the hang of it...it will soon become your favorite and you wont want to be without it..highly accurate and very light weight..hardly noticable on your wrist..I usually put it on my pack strap for quick access and use...very highly recomended..especially at night..the glowing element charges easily and lasts a while..easily my favorite compass.Read full review...

Will work great for me
I am happy with my compass purchase. I like the side window for taking a compass heading. It settles down fairly quick and gives an acurate heading. The strap is so-so. It is too long to fit on my wrist and too short to attach over my jacket sleeve when snowmobiling. I plan on making my own strap from onestrap Velcro.Read full review...

Finding my way.
This is a good compass for cross country hiking. I like to use it in conjunction with my base plate compass and a map.it is easy to take a bearing and maintain the correct heading.

Good compass
This is a good wrist compass and this new version have some improvements like the new dial support that becomes more reliable. The strap have very low quality. The compass have 5 degree steps and it is very useful to mantain a general azimuth, Good rescue and combat compass. The movement of the dial not is the better, needs to put it really horizontally. This is my second M-9 compass and I always use it in my right wrist, the I think it is though (I am firefighter).Read full review...

Wrist compass
I track with a K9 and this is a extra piece of confidence on my wrist while out. It is lightweight and will fit over my jacket during cold weather or rain. It is also small enough to go around my wrist during hot weather. This compass has already taken a beating and works just fine. I’ll buy another one when I finally lose this one.Read full review...

Should do well....
Just hope I never need it! It is fairly easy to read. Would not mind if it was heavier if it was made of glass rather than all plastic. Strap is super cheapo.

Too Big to add to a watch.
In the day of traveling light this really can not be added to your watch and needs to be used on its separate band. Defetes the purpose. So I put it on my dogs collar! Aloha

Face dial stuck every time. Not well balance. Hanky panky..
Face dial is not well balance. It got stuck and not rotate smoothly. Not recommended for outdoor user. Really frustrated.

Somewhat difficult to read when viewing ...
Somewhat difficult to read when viewing more than 45 deg from vertical. The phosphorescent glow is weak - for me not useable in darkness.
