Good performance and recording.

I was hoping for a bit more of a lifelike and dynamic experience since this is my favorite of Beethoven's symphonies, but both the performance and the recording are quite good. The SACD layer of this CD is noticeably superior to a redbook CD I own of the same symphony.Read full review
