YES YOU CAN ACTIVATE IT !!

I am not sure why someone said you had to buy these from Tmobile to get it activated. Mine worked just fine, after Tmobile turns it on leave it in the charing dock till the onboarding is done, once done go in your settings and click on connect to your internet, this will then update the firmware. That's it! Item works great; plus the app uses Google maps & Battery lasts about a week!! Works much better then the syncup tracker I replaced. Read full review

Can't Activate.

You must buy this directly from T-Mobile. They won't activate this if it's bought somewhere else. Tried with two different ones.
