Butch!
I love the TAMA Road Pro cymbal stand line. These things are well made, beefy, and easy to set up. I hate trying to find the "sweet spot" for my cymbals on a stand that had limited adjustability. Inevitably, you're always one tooth off from the sweet spot. This hardware is fully adjustable so I can quickly and easily set it exactly where I want it to be, and once there, it doesn't move. These things are seriously butch! Oh, and they don't cost as much as DW...another perk :)Read full review

Took 2 stars off because...
One star off because you can't fold this snare stand. They should have added a groove in the ball joint area so you can fold it all they way down for packing. 2nd star off because there's no memory lock, so when packing after gig you might have to remove top and bottom parts go fit in hardware case or bag so they should have put a memory lock on the neck for quick set up...... other than that I luv it.Read full review

Excellent!
I am a hard hitter and this stand is all that. The best is that you can dial in the fine tune cymbal adjustment at just below the cymbal perfectly anywhere any time! I am old school and run my cymbals perfectly flat. Thanks Tommy Aldridge! The stand collars have just enough movement to where the telescopic action does not start binding up after much use like others. Also big outdoor stages where wind could be a problem your cymbals will be safe due to a rock solid stand foundation. I have been in this game for more years than I can count and this stand is awesome. Would I buy again,,,You Bet!!!Read full review

Great Stand!
I bought 2 of these stands for my newest set of drums. Beautiful hardware and highly recommended. Tama products are the way to go! Both have my 2 new toms mounted with cymbals intact. Very nice and easy setup.Read full review

As tough as they come
This stand lives up to Tama's reputation for building some of the strongest drum hardware available.
The double-braced base makes it sturdy under any load (a 14" tom and 20" cymbal together will not even phase it), the toothless tilter lets you set the exact cymbal angle you want, and the quick-release Cymbal Mate nut is a masterpiece of engineering -
you just squeeze the red ends to quickly set or remove it, yet you can still perform fine adjustments by turning it like a traditional nut.

Great Stands at a Fair Price
BEEFY. I had to replace my 35+ year old Ludwig Heavy Duty Boom stands, These are FAR and away more rugged AND they go from Boom to straight in a heartbeat !! I realize hardware has come a long way in the past 4 decades, but I did visit a local music store to compare what was available. I made the right choice. Fair price, and these look like they will take a beating on the road. AAAAA+++++Read full review

Lightweight with great features
The boom hides into the frame, a very useful feature. It is stable, it has a nice height, is adjustable and has a very useful clasp to attach the cymbal. I plan to attach auxiliary percussion for concert playing. Tama has made good hardware for years.Read full review

Solid and enjoyable to use
Very simply, these stands are solid, heavy and are smooth to set up and adjust. Cymbal stands are simple, of course, but little subtleties like good balance and firmness without excessive tightness in the bearings when one wants to shift a cymbal a bit do vary between brands. A stand base cannot be too heavy except when carried to a gig, but these are an excellent balance.Read full review

Tama Roadpro
Always loved Tama Roadpro series. I’ve bought cheaper stands lately to save money and figured, ‘They’ll wotk’...big mistake!! Some stands are just flimsy and poor quality. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on good equipment! Can’t go wrong with Tama Roadpro!Read full review
