Great quality video using an obsolete format.
The Mini DV video format is obsolete by current standards. Nevertheless, when used to shoot high definition video it continues to offer benefits over other formats similar to the benefits of vinyl records over compact discs.
Unfortunately, this format is no longer being manufactured. Therefore, I am attempting to stock up on tapes for potential use. TDK, Fuji, Sony and Panasonic brand tapes are all quality brands in my opinion.
