Not User Friendly for Professionals
#1- Must use their preset increment buttons of input signal change (up or down). No Dial Control for fine tuning. The reference Volume also goes up and down with the operation of the input level buttons. Confusing and Unnecessary. #2- After each recording, the previous level used is not remembered. Resets to zero Everytime. **Have plenty of time to get your projects done.Read full review

Top notch - low cost.
This is a solid unit for a very low cost. It is easy to use and produces a direct transcript from the vinyl. I'm enjoying using it.

Recording functionality ineffective
Setup and installation into my Denon receiver was quite easy. It recorded, finalized the disc...to record no more. Player works well, but I really didn't need a player...just a recorder. I will donate the device to a charity and find another recorder.Read full review

Teac CD-RW890mkII CD Recorder review (db level too low, but overall it is okay recorder)
The db level should go a little higher as it is in the earlier 880 model I just sold

Great product
Recieved my cd recorder today. Already recording from my reel to reel to cd. Great sound and easy to use. Using a no name music cdr and it's recognizing it and recording fine!

Teac CD recorder
Still getting use to the features and how to use them. Also trying to set up a space for using it, but what i have done with it gives the impression that i will be quite satisfied as i try to record my cassettes and 8-tracks on to CD's.Read full review

Poorly designed. Failed within a month of very light, home audio use.

Disappointing and disheartening... No more TEAC products, ever. Especially made in China. OMG.
Good unit so far
It was a little hard to record with at first but good now. You have reset record volume every time after it stops which is a problem if you forget.over all records and plays like it should.
Cd recorder
