DOES 12 VOLT BATTERIES ONLY!

Purchased this battery tester because of the features it has. Long smaller than leads. I tested a battery on my 2019 FLFBS with battery in place. No easy task on a newer HD.
Also purchased it cause ad said does 6 volt batteries,golf carts deep cycle. This was untrue and misleading advertising.
No happy about that. So if they missleaded me on this. How long will this tester last?Read full review

Good product

I am happy with this tester. It seems to do a good job testing the battery and charging system. It also shows the current draw during starting. This helps to know if the starter is drawing too much. This little tool is a great way to check...

This little tool is a great way to check the performance of your deep cycle batteries used in golf carts, small industrial lifts (Genie) and amazingly, my 25 year old E-Gator. These batteries are expensive and this meter is great for giving you the CA, State of Charge, output voltage, State of Health, and internal resistance. This is my second one. I was disappointed in this battery tester will not test deep cycle battery's.

It test CCA of a CCA ranked battery. It will not measure the Amp Hours of a deep cycle battery, which is what I need to do.
