Fantastic little device

I bought this because my wifi would only work in one room next to the router. I plugged this in, connected my router to it and my wifi is back to normal. I was considering buying a new computer at one point because the wifi was so bad and this has completely restored it.Read full review

I may be unfare

Not sure I am rating this fairly.I can not get it to work. I have followed instructions, managed to download and install drivers, but it will not connect and find the adaptor. We have very poor broadband in our village, I have super fast and have checked the speed. Tried for many hours and finally put it back in the box. This could easily be me so if you have good tech skills give it a go.Read full review

Lightweight and easy set-up

This is a good Wireless USB adaptor and a very good price. It is easy to set up with the provided cd. It is a small size.

Not bad and very usefull

Simple to install, it only needed drivers for my PC (W7) and works well.

It did worked right out the box on my Linux laptop but there is an issue.
If I turn the laptop on with TP-Link installed the signal stregth is very low 4%, if I unplug it and re-insert it shows 100% signal strength, after that it works great giving good range.

There are drivers for Linux on there website but I'm too think to understand and install them that's the only reason not to give it full marks.

Wireless dongle

I bought this as a replacement for the previous item which started to fail being quite old. I gave it to my 7 year old daughter who simply plugged it into the USB on her tower unit and away she went. Great bit of gear

I live in an older house with thick stone walls We have a second computer in a room further down the corridor and the internet connection was slow or dropping out. I didn't want the bother or expense of buying an expensive wi-fi extender so thought I would try the TP-Link USB adapter.

Although a wee bit tricky to setup once installed it has worked a treat. Broadband speeds only slightly slower than my wired ethernet connection on my main computer. The wi-fi has not dropped out once since installation.

Surprisingly good performance at an affordable price.

Great value, simple installation and works exactly as expected. I bought this from Argos for my desktop PC when I replaced my BT Broadband with tethering to my mobile on iD Mobile. I hardly notice any difference in performance from the previous broadband via an ethernet cable. I am in a good reception area though on the Three network.
