Once working the smart plug is seamless control. I say once working because to use (certainly with Alexa) you need to download the KASA app. Again no problem if you have an android or iPhone but!! Brilliant little plugs. I have 7 of these and they do not even register as a single Watt power usage. I use these to turn the power off when out and in bed. I have saved decent money in electricity bills so worth the purchase.
