WiFi Dead Spots? Not any more!
Having just switched from Sky Fibre to Vodafone, our old problem of WiFi deadspots returned. Sky Q sorted this by making each box a powerline-enabled WiFi hotspot - functionality that was lost when we switched. Having used TP-Link powerline devices in the past, I went for this option because of the data speed and pass-through power plugs. This device is giving powerline & WiFi speeds in excess of 12 times the speed of our broadband service, so there are no bottlenecks even when streaming 4K content to the TV or main Sky Q box. You need the receiver as well as the one that sends the internet via the electrical cables. If you dont have both your wasting your time. It works very well and I Linked up multiple receivers and have consistent internet. its a big house and even though the router is supposed to be the best, they all have limits, this product means good internet in rooms that used to have issues with wifi.
