Excellent WiFi extender

Having been unable to get a good and consistent WiFi cover with my current provider even with their booster this was a much better solution as you can locate it in the area for better cover and all you need is a mains socket. I had a pair of TP-Link using RJ45 cables at both ends which worked OK but swapping the remote TP-Link unit with this WiFi model I now have easier use of PC and improves the overall WiFi coverage significantly! Simple set up with WIFi clone? No WPA button? Not necessary....

Simple Setup with Wifi Clone. If you do not have a WPA button on your router disregard the second part of the set up - wifi Clone bit - where you pair it with your wireless net work. If you, like me tried to pair it manually don't bother, It still works without doing it. I used my mac laptop in the room with the new extender and the lap top automatically picked up the network name of the the wifi extender. I also plugged in my apple TV to the extender and the signal was fantastic!! Problem solved. Brilliant. Just what I wanted.
However I did try the manual route, complicated for someone like me, and contacted tp-links email help. It was appalling. Who ever it was never answered direct questions and in the end I worked out myself that I didn't have to use the cloning bit to make it work fine. Hope some of you find this helpful. Powerlines: easy to install and use.

You need two Powerline units to start with but you can add more. It is easy to pair them.
It is quite straight forward to use their web interface to change the WiFi details etc.

Value for Money , Makes a big Difference !

My TP -Link Power line Adapter kit does work well.

Living in a City in a built up area, it has made a big difference to the speed of my internet connection. Where ever I am in my house, the connection seems to work well.

So over all thanks to my brothers recommendation of buying this power
line. I am very pleased I listened to him for a change and bought my self one.

I bought this hoping it would be compatible with my Powerline units of a different brand. Unfortunately it wasn't, so I bought a TP-Link pair TL-PA4010P which worked a treat. I now have wi-fi over more of the house. I might buy another for complete coverage.Read full review

I've bought two of these wi-fi extenders now to reach dead spots in my house. They can be set up in minutes and I can move round the house seamlessly switching to the best signal for my laptop/pad without having to change wi-fi log in or dropping transmission speeds . Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. It's as easy as that. I set mine up in the shed at the bottom of the garden and get the same speed as next to the router in the house.

It works well

The product does work well but the advert was deceiving I expected 2 items but received only one ( later when reviewing the advert it does say in small writing one adapter, that was what led me to believe I would get 1 extender and 1 adapter) I paid £27.99 but looking further into your shop I saw you sell the full set up for £33. I asked this by email to yourselves but got no reply - how much would it cost me to buy the smaller extender.
I am satisfied that the product is good and works as stated.
