Scales a bit off.
Ok. So yea I bought this with the idea of having a front working machine gun in the hull instead of the turret. Dur to the thickness of the barrel beginning you will have to redrill the ball to fit it but once it's done it fits fine. Unfortunately the original led decided not to work so I used the original one from the turret. Works great now. As for scale. Well it now looks like the tank crew's swopped the original machine gun for a larger 50 calibre that looks more like it's got a bazooka in the front of it. Lol. But then considering that the tank I have is heavily modified Pantiger. The panther top that henlong decided to bung on top of a Tiger bottom. Which really doesn't work as a scale model. Due to the wrong wheels and tracks configuration. Not to mention that the suspension is totally wrong. So none of the not quite in scale really matters. What you do actually get is a nice working,I E flashing, machine gun in the hull. Recommendations. Entertainment, yes. Scale item, no. Fun, yes. Read full review...

Nice, but not sure....
The machined alloy hull gun is beautifully made with the led included in a very neat package, including the anti flash holes along the barrel.
It's not as bright as, for example, the standard HengLong set up and is somewhat larger in barrel diameter, so much so as to suggest that either one or the other (or both?) have got it wrong but once painted a realistic colour it looks a little smaller. You will need to drill out the existing ball mount to accept the thicker barrel and also countersink the rear of the ball so that the gun can seat properly. The two photos show the HL and Taigen examples, the HL on the Henchel turret, the metal replacement on the Porsche turret models.
