If you just want a clear, simple calendar for remembering those important events in your life, then this meets this task very well. Each day is presented with plenty of space to make notes and reminders. The A4 format is perfect to be clearly read at least a couple of metres away and a simple hook is all that is required to hang the calendar on a wall or side of a cupboard. The spiral binding makes turning each months page easy and means that looking back on past events is very easy. As each month is printed on a new page (i.e. the calendar has 12 separate pages and is not double-side printed), the months can be easily incremented or decremented to check dates just by turning the pages whilst the calendar remains in the same orientation. The paper is not glossy like some are and this means that it accepts writing more readily as the paper type is similar to standard 80g/m^2 printing or duplicating paper.
Some people might find the lack of pictures and/or decoration makes the calendar a bit clerical or more suited for the office environment; for me though, I like the clarity that the plain calendar offers and have used the same style for several years.Read full review

Great but prefer the huge one
I prefer the really big version of this but it is twice the size . However the huge one gives more space for writing and is very easy to read for us older,glass needing folk.

It's a calendar. Of the 2 models used of this type in the past, I prefer this double column one to the longer, thinner, smaller single column. More room to write own and easier to then read

We have been using this type of calendar for several years now, birthdays, appointments etc. There's enough room to write on each 'day', and if you keep them, eventually you'll have a record that you may need to look back on.
