Tamiya Extra Thin Cement (Quick-Setting) (87182)

Cracking stuff for the right application.

Bought this after seeing it reviewed on Andy's Hobby HQ on Youtube. Certainly does 'what it says on the tin'. Ideal for small fiddly bits that need support whilst the glue is setting. Reacts about four times faster than the regular Extra Thin, so be warned - ! smells different, preferred the tamiya extra thin glue with older label

This extra thin tamiya glue in the new packaging smells completely different to the tamiya extra thin in the older style packaging (the label on the old stuff was a much paler green) It smells a lot more toxic and reminds me of acetone. The function of the glue is just as good as the old stuff and bonds/melts plastic to plastic extremely well it's a quick drying time! This is the glue, for detailed work.

Used on plastics this glue is very suitable for rapid tac and release and has replaced most of my other glues for hobby use. Superglue still has a place but when you need a thin non bulky glue (models) this is all I use.

Beats tube plastic glue!

Liquid glue that flows smoothly and sets fast, can set a little too fast in a very warm environment.
Good for those fiddly very small parts that you get in todays modern quality kits.
Dinky brush applicator connected to lid.

Not bad but a bit too fast drying

This is one of several plastic adhesives from this company. Although an excellent product I found in some instances it dried before I could adjust the item I was gluing. However, the instructions do suggest running in the adhesive to pre- positioned items.Read full review

Very useful glue to add to the arsenal

Very useful for small parts that need to be usually held while the glue sets. Don't use it on plastic kit tracks though as it is very aggressive.

Good for fixing Lego

I bought this to glue Lego pieces that have cracked. It works nicely fixing cracks, but it is tricky to fix broken pieces. Overall good product and would recommend for fixing cracks in plastic.

Tamiya quick setting glue

Awesome stuff. Drys almost instantly so great for those small fiddly pieces. Watch out though..... it evaporates if lid left off.
