I am now a Taramps fan!!
This amp is absolutely amazing!! It has so much power for its size!! It only gets luke warm no matter how loud I play it or how long I use it. I would have never thought that an amp this small could play so loud cleanly before being introduced to this amp on the "Big D Wiz, Old School Stereo" YouTube channel. TOO SENSITIVE!
This amp would be great if you wanted to listen to one single song for the rest of your life. It doesn’t handle different music very well. Too much bass on one song isn’t enough on another and goes into protection mode easily! Don’t recommend this amp at all!Read full review

Big bang for a few bucks
This amp is awesome. It does go into protect on me and resets if I go above the mid 20's on my headunit when max undistorted is 34. My only battery is an old one under the hood and am sure I just can't feed it enough power. I contacted support about an hour ago to get a second opinion but sure that's it. Still has my dual skar evl 12's shaking my whole car

Smart 3 taramps clip and protection say goodbye to old digital amplifier circuits 2 or 1 ohm 3k output it is underrated . 2 k on 4 ohms and protection works like a dream if you accidentally bump your sub signal clipping the amp extensively it will go to protect mode. Big power
In my experience with it running off a factory HU and loc is I got alot of vocals thru the sub. The filters aren't very good in my opinion. I'm having to buy a active crossover to run it cleanly. Awesome power though and very versatile. For the price I'd say hard to beat for a true 3k amp in such a small package.Read full review

rated at 12.6 volts so you know you're always supplying enough power to it. very efficient & runs cool. does not take over sized 0 awg very well & need special adapters to do so.
