Great Sound And features.

Excellent sound, clear and precise, easy to set up, has detachable head shell so easy to change cartridges, also has VTA adjustment, tracking weight adjustment etc. Electronic speed change including 78RPM. heavyweight construction and good isolating feet. after looking at many others went for this as good combination of sound quality and usability. Highly recommend as easy to use compared to many others and has everything I needed including auto lift at the end of a record. also has separate leads, and a built in phono pre-amp stage should it be required.Easy upgrade be Changing Stylus to Ortofon Blue.Read full review...

There's a reason it has 5 stars just about everywhere you look!

There's a reason this deck has 5 stars pretty much across the whole of the interweb and that's because, for the money, it's an excellent quality built, quality sounding deck. It looks amazing (especially the black) the Ortofon 2M needle is high quality too. Absolutely love this deck and if previous technics builds (such as the 1200/1210) are anytyhing to go by this deck should last a lilfetime!!!Read full review...

Modern turntable with good quality sound

This turntable has the legendary build quality of Technics with added modern benefits. It is not a DJ turntable nor a high end audiophile turntable, but a lively dynamic turntable that is very useful with a wide range of audio systems. It has a built in phono stage that seems to work very well with Ortofon 2M red cartridge. I’m running it through a NAD 758 with 4 Paradigm Millennium 300 and a small sub. The sound is big and very detailed, maybe a bit bass heavy on Jazz albums but really good on rock, almost like a live concert. I’m pretty sure one can achieve much more with this turntable with a more focused stereo setup.Read full review...

A great turntable

The first thing that struck me about this turntable was the weight - it's heavy which means it should be more resilient to resonances and external vibrations. This is born out in practise as the sound is very solid and well controlled especially at low frequencies. The product oozes quality and is well worth the asking price.Read full review...
