Fabric hoses have been around since the expandable/retractable ones that were so widely shown on TV. I have purchased 5 of them and 4 of them have broken some as quickly 2nd use. They were replaced under warranty. I still have one left for light duty use watering the plants around the front of the house. I have purchased 3 or 4 metal clad hoses with 2 of them having been replaced under warranty - I have 2 of those remaining for emergency backup . Now the ZERO G -TERRIFIC hose light weight very strong and durable . Bought the first one (100 ft) out of necessity and it lasted one whole season with heavy use - then another whole season of heavy use - now almost through the 3rd season - still the perfect hose - light weight & very durable so I bought a second one 50 ft -the perfect length for its permanent location for watering plants - just bought the 3 one 100 ft. Defective high price hose

Not completely kink free but still the best.

Kink free it is not. You can tug the kinks out easier than other hoses as long as you are not going around any raised beds and the sort where it might get caught. It is light weight and flexable and stores with less trouble due to its ability to collapse. I have a farm and have gone through dozens of different styles of hoses. This one has proven to be the most durable and easier to use because of its light weight. A good quality lightweight hose.

I liked the retractable lightweight hoses but they are not good for pressure washers and are not that reliable. The Zero-G hose is lightweight and can be used with a pressure washer.
