Clock radio

Bought as a third replacement for a worn out radio alarm. Works well as an alarm on FM band. However on DAB, although i can tune into about 30 stations, when set to alarm mode 9 times out of 10 the radio signal is lost and so fails to operate correctly. This seems to be a failure in DAB reception as i had another make of radio/alarm which suffered the same problem. On FM all is ok, the only thing i would like is to be able to turn off the display at night when asleep as it lights up the room.Read full review

Good features almost 5 star

It is compact easy to use and the self time set is great. In fact it would be a five star except it has no back up battery so it appears that if you have a power cut it won't reset the time until the dab radio station is switched on and it won't switch on because it doesn't know what time it is.Read full review

Excellent value for money

Considering the price this clock/radio is excellent value for money. Loads of features and easy to set up, although because of the alarm features, and choices, takes a few seconds to page through setting the alarm settings. Has two alarms so it doesn't need constant resetting. Only minor complaint, type on buttons is rather small, but you soon learn functions so it isn't too important.Read full review

Good for the price

I bought this set hoping it would be suitable for a disabled elderly 95 yr old, partially sited lady, as it was press button controlled, but there were too many buttons for her to cope with and it was certainly too complicated for her to set it up. But for me, after struggling to set up the alarm and other functions, the set is easy to use as a bedside alarm radio.
I have abandoned trying to get reception of digital stations but the VHH reception is fine and easy to use - if I can remember which buttons are which.

Received Faulty BUT ...

Received Faulty, which leads me to think they are not always inspected properly when it was returned.
Fault was the '0' going by the picture was not showing, so part of the display was dead.

Small product with a great heart

This is an excellent product that does what it says on the tin and more. If I could buy more I would but when I searched, there were no more available. It was easy to set up. The time is set automatically through the DAB signal and it has preset stations which are easy to use. The sound quality is excellent for a radio of this size. Excellent DAB Alarm Clock

This was truly a lucky find on Ebay... From the start it was easy to set up and use, giving first class reception.
I was interested in its self-tuning, finding all the 50 or so stations locally available to me such that I could take my choice to nominate as Presets.
At my ripe old age of 87, I wish I could justify the incorporation of DAB in my trusty
Honda Jazz to get the quality reception (And music IDENTIFICATION) when on the move.

Ideal for bedroom.

Exactly what I wanted for the bedroom. It's small with a large clock readout. The brightness of the clock can be adjusted - 3 levels. Also the time is radio-controlled because of DAB. I've tried the DAB and it works fine except that it's more sensitive to other electrical items than another DAB in the same location. Low price and reasonable performance

Not bad for the price, operation and setting of alarms is not as simple and logical as could be and there's no battery backup although the clock auto sets after a power cut.
