I don't know if the digital reception will be the same for everybody, but for me this radio has fantastic reception. the areal is at its lowest point (as in the photo) and the radio itself is tucked into a corner and it pulls them digital & FM stations in fantastically. Small and compact/

Good clear display with 3 light levels .thankfully the lowest is just right for night,ie not to bright.
The problem with compact upward facing speakers is the sound is never the best for reproduction.
The controls being small and on top are not the best to use whilst lying in the bed.
A stereo headphone output would have been good for private listening.
It was a refurbished unit but it was in as new condition.
So as an alarm clock nice and small with a good alarm,good value.Read full review
