Tintin DVD boxed set
My first acquaintance with Tintin was as a young boy of about 10 years of age, long before DVD technology existed. In those days the Tintin adventures only existed in book form and I owned 6 slim books that resembled magazines/comics of the day. I was aware of the other adventures of Tintin but I could not afford them on my pocket money. Instead I borrowed them from my school and the local public library. My favourite adventure is 'Tintin and The Crab with the Golden Claws'. Now, almost 55 years later, I can afford the DVD boxed set of the Tintin adventures. I purchased the boxed set once before but gave it away as a gift. I don't regret giving the gift but I did regret losing my only copy of the Tintin DVD adventures. I promised myself that one day I would replace it but new copies are hard to find.
Recently, whilst browsing through eBay with nothing particular on my mind, this pristine, unopened copy of the DVD adventures of Tintin came to my attention. I had to have it and so I purchased it.
