If you read any self development book this has to be it. It's a great book and one you can read over and over again. It is also a compelling story so not the usual boring, 'you are wonderful, you and beautiful' stuff you get in some books. Although I'm sure you are!!

A lovely fable

It is simple, nicely written and heart warming. The concepts within are not completely as I know the world to be, however I was pleased for Santiago the young man who followed his dreams and signs, and these manifested for him. In the book I received, the part concerning the story of Narcissus was missing which is quite fundamental to the tale itself. I had to be filled in by an electronic review so the story came together. I would overall recommend the novel as it is a pleasing read and you can go back to it at any time.Read full review
