The Art Of Love

Saw this movie many many years ago when I was quite young. It seemed extremely funny then although in my old age it is 90% as funny. Carl Reiner did the script at that time and comparing his later works this seems a little overdone. We all improve with age. My favourite line was the witch of a woman at the trial saying "guillotine guillotine" which was a take off on the 1937 movie A TALE OF TWO CITIES. That was a little overdone but then Carl Reiner was quite young when he did the script. I found the character quite entertaining Ethel Merman Elke Sommer etc. I really enjoyed it.
