Incredible film, would highly recommend to anyone!

I bought this because I'd heard good things about it, and it won best picture at the Oscars which can't be a bad thing. Upon watching the film it didn't fail to disappoint. Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo played such authentic characters in what was a superb homage to the silent era. The added bonus of John Goodman is always welcome as he's a favourite of mine.Read full review...

Superb performance in much acclaimed film

This is an artistic masterpiece. The film would not go amiss in the days of silent movies. When you think of great classic like 'singing in the rain' this also is a period drama set in the 1920/30's in America, the early days of silent cinema and the transition to talkies and how one artist found it hard to find a voice in this new world.
