This film is so much fun and the plot twisted and pleasingly engaging. It's a Cohen bros. written/directed masterpiece. The casting is just perfect. I can watch this film over and over and still get a big charge out of it each time. It is a mood lifter! It will be regarded as a smart and sophisticated comedy classic for many more years to come, I predict. There is a lot of cursing in it but it is a high tension plot -- Poor Jeff Bridge's "The Dude!" character. He can only be mellow over so much before he cracks a bit. Julie Moore is super sexy, tough, and weird. Meek Steve Buscemi and habitually hacked-off John Goodman both turn in hilarious performances as The Dude's bowling team partners and friends.Read full review...

One of the funniest movies ever made!

I put The Big Lebowski up there with the likes of Mel Brooks and the Marx Brother's movies. I had to watch it more than once to catch all the nuances. That said, I cannot recommend this movie highly enough!Read full review...
