Bring back the bloc rockin beats

Ok so the album is good, it has to be Chemical Brothers are wizards at what they do and few come close to producing songs like them.
This album is experimental- if it wasn't for "do it again" and "The pills won't help you now" I'd be requesting my money back. Some will love "The Salmon Dance" but it's way too fishy and just wrong.
Sadly not a patch on Push the Button.

The Chemical Brothers

I really got into the Chemical Brothers when Push the Button came out, loved that album so when I saw that the next one was out I got quite excited! On first listen I was a little disappointed, gone were the radio friendly singles and big anthems. I really struggled to get the album but kept playing it over and over. It's not an inferior album, just different to what has gone before. The songs are subtle but have hidden depth. They build and climax and every listen reveals something new. Da amante ossessionato del duo inglese, finalmente in possesso della promo pagata a peso d'oro, non potevo esimermi dal condividere la mia personale (e sicuramente di parte) recensione del nuovo attesissimo album in uscita il 2 Luglio.
Ho notato critiche molto differenti riguardo quest'album, e soprattutto qui in Italia, a differenza di quanto avviene in UK, c'è chi ha espresso opinioni molto negative. Vorrei aggiungere inoltre una cosa: in quest'album troverete poco o nulla del BIGBEAT dei primi album.
Nonostante ciò, personalmente posiziono questo album nella top 5 dei miei album preferiti.Read full review...
