Just more Disney

Good special effects. Unfortunately Disney turns a brilliant story into a cliche action movie. (What's new?) Wooden characters apart from Eustace, whose actor saves the day. The rest is mediocre.
Go back to reading the actual books. I was hoping for a good interpretation of much loved book - this wasn't the one, sadly.

Real escapism

As ever a great DVD from 20th Century Fox - a hallmark of quality.

Probably the best of the Narnia stories and with a familiar cast a feeling of real involvement with the characters.

Some excellent effects of course enhanced by faultless audio and resolution. Clarity of diction in delivery is always important and no issues here obviously controlled by skillful mixing.

Recently seen on TV, this DVD should be in everyone's library to enjoy again and again.Read full review
