The condemned DVD
This was a fairly action packed movie, violence being the major theme. The story was a bit predictable. It's not going to be a DVD I would want to watch again, once seen I give it to someone else or boot sale.
I bought it as I really enjoy action & martial art movies with my son, it was to watch over the Christmas holidays when there was nothing on T.V. worth watching.Read full review...
"why did u blow that building up It was blocking my sun
The Condemned is one of those films that we dont seem to see much of anymore, good oldskool CGI free action.
Stone Cold is great in his portrayal of Conrad, saying little but showing some good emotion.
Jones is ace at being bad and shows it again here.
All in All if u like Raw action, big bangs and a fairly unique concept then try the Condemned and it wont disappoint.
A warning though, despite being under the WWE films banner, this is extremely brutal and violent, much more than the Marine, more resembling the new Rambo.Read full review...
The condemned
What an amazing film, it goes to show that wrestlers make briliant actors first the rock then john cena and now stone cold. great performances in this one by austin and also vinnie jones who played his part to perfection with non stop action i was glued to the screen for nearly two hours *****!Read full review...
THE CONDEMNED - DVD
I had seen this DVD before and really liked it,action packed and exciting and i bought it also because i have always liked Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Must-see film classic; shame about the extras
Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.Read full review...
