Incomparable!

They just don't make shows like this any more. PC? No! Moralistic? No! Swearing? No! Dodgy dealing? Yes! But how could you complain about the generosity of this engaging family?

Runs through every emotion, from tears of laughter to tears of sympathy. And the acting is brilliant, as you'd expect from the brilliant cast. And all set in a sunlit Kent countryside which might never have looked so good in the 1950s.

I am very disappointed with the quality of the Dvd's. Nearly all freeze leaving you unable to watch the full part of each episode and on two discs I couldn't even watch the final 5 minutes.
