The situation is so grave that news presenters must wear hats during broadcasts.
Star of the show is the sinister 'Rhoebutt' Gort. He's the infinitely strong silent type who dispenses justice quickly and without emotion. He also has a way with the ladies .
This is THE classic Sci Fi movie. Genuinely spine tingling with some great cinematography. There is superb use of light and shadows to create dramatic and truly unsettling images.
Good picture quality but alas only in TV aspect ratio 4:3 in this release. A great watch, the inspiration for many to follow.Read full review

Excellent film. This is the one 1 wanted because it's original good acting, enjoyable and engrossing. I found myself cheering on the spaceman. I bought it recently to pair up with the inferior remake version in 2008 which the grandchildren are more familiar with so they could compare.
