love this cd, different sound compaired to previous distiller albums but still very good! not as punk but brody's vocals are still excellent. definately worth adding to your collection!

Punk Genius.

I bought this on the strength of both the first single and lead-off track 'Drain The Blood' and this albums' predecessor 'Sing Sing Death House' (also highly recommended) and I was not dissapointed. An althogether more polished affair than previous releases, (thanks to producing genius Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Feeder)), 'Coral Fang' is brief at 11 tracks (and of course none of these are sprawling 10 minute epics) but it still packs a punch. Brody Dalle seems to have found a new confidence to explore more robust songwriting, as evidenced on the slow-burning 'The Hunger', although that's not to say the three-chord, breakneck thrash has vanished completely ('Hall Of Mirrors'), and of course neither has Dalle's 40 Marlboro a day distinctive bark.

Sadly this album was the Distillers last; but a fitting finale.

Coral fang?

It's a good album, full of some of the best track the band put out. Also contains the awesome single "drain the blood" which to be honest was the reason I bought the cd. The only dissapointing thing about this cd is the after effect, I sat down after listening to the album, think I really enjoyed that but what's next, if u didn't know the band acturly split some time ago, and the music brody dale "sorry if I spelt her name wrong" is porducing now is so common and mainstream, just a waste of a amazing voice. Reform the distillers sort it outRead full review...

The Distillers - Coral Fang.

After hearing a few tracks by The Distillers, i decided to buy the album. Upon my first listen to Coral Fang, I liked it insantly. Yes there are comparisons to Courtney Love's band "Hole", but Brody Dalle has a more powerful voice, and there is a very raw punk undertone throughout!

OVERALL : Essential listening! Buy it NOW!

The Distillers' worst album but still easily 4*

A generally good album with no particually bad songs, probably The Distillers most consistent work throughout the CD.

'Coral Fang' is in my opinion their worst album though, with no particually stand-out songs, a cleaner feel and slightly repititious detracting from the Punk feel that for me defined The Distillers' earlier work and made them one of my favourite bands.

I would recomend this album to any fan of their, or similar work, but only after having got 'The Distillers' and 'Sing Sing Death House'.

Brody Dalle is an amazing vocalist, beat you heart out is the stand out song on the album; there are other very good songs on the cd, very good 8/10

The Distiller - Coral Fang.

Very nce album with a few well known songs such as: Dismantle Me and Drain the Blood. Just a shame it hasn't got City of Angels on it. Would make it a superb album. Would recommend. 4/5 from me :D. (Brody Dalle is very good looking which always help ;) )Read full review...
