wierd n wonderful

Well, what can I say? Having seen the film (several times.....sad, I know....) I now see how the mood of the film was enhanced by the edgy and quite strange 'music' of the soundtrack.

A mixture of slow, mournful tracks (Chemical Burn), almost soulful 'lounge' (Marla) with a hint of trance and grungey stuff thrown in just for psychedelic effect!

My favorite track has to be the Dust Brothers working of 'This Is Your Life'- Tyler Durden's monologue from the film, spliced, distorted and overlaid onto some really funky, modern electronica.

A wierd & wonderful mix of music, samples & voice! Well worth a listen though maybe not for when old Aunty Mavis is visiting.....
