True to Historical Events

This movie depicts what my father, and his sisters experienced in some of the last years that the horrible policy of taking away indigenous children from their parents, and force-feed "civilizing" them in closed schools. This movie didn't quite show the emotional trauma of what the families went through, but it was tough to watch, nevertheless. It is hard to realize just how many non-indigenous people still do not know this actually went on. I got this, because it helps me educate people who can't fathom those government policies otherwise.
