Gilbert & Sullivan are the best!

Performances largely are faithful to Gilbert’s libretto. Peter Alan weak as the pirate king. Iolanthe was made for a television performance and so was disappointing. The best Gondoliers best I have seen, excellent. Ambrosia choir was excellent .

Wonderful Boxset of Gilbert,and,Sullivan Light Opera. Always easy to listen too. This version is the best of British.
