Really strong cart. The only one with a removable plastic liner and removable sides. I like the solid tyres that don’t need pumping up or get punctures. This compares well to my old American Gorilla cart which you can’t get in the UK unfortunately. The Gorilla cart has a much simpler and easier means for attaching the sides using tabs and slots. The Handy cart is a bit of a faff using pins and locking pins which are really quite fiddly. However it is indispensable in the garden. Read full review...

Garden Cart - it's ok.

The cart has will carry-out the function I bought it for and that is to move long lengths of featherboard. Fairly easy to put together - the leaflet does help a bit but needs up-dating. It has a limited turning circle; this means that in certain situations you will have to "jiggle" it to turn it. There is a plastic insert which is great for grass cuttings and dead twigs - would not like to load it up to its full advertised capacity you'd probably never be able to pull it by hand! Speaking of which it is quite heavy un-laden - with a few hard-wood logs on it you have to give it quite a pull, which lifts the front wheels off the ground, to get it going - this might be a design issue.

Speaking of design issues the clearance between the rear frame and the wheels is tight - the wheels sometimes catch, even though I've popped in spacer washers. If the axle was 3 or 4mm longer there would not be a problem - if it does become a bigger issue I suppose I could contact my local steel stockist to see if they could supply a rod I could drill and fix.

I believe it says in the blurb it could be towed behind a garden tractor or other motorised device - not sure how long it would last if it was fully loaded and bounced over un-even terrain.

Finally, I believe the cart will give some years of service moving light loads around the garden; it is a good looking piece of kit with tyres that will not puncture along with removable sides. It is over-priced and the quality of design and build leaves a little to be desired.
