It's a brilliant product sadly let down by poor assembly instructions and a lack of washers to put under nuts to stop them trying to tear through holes and slots that are not much smaller than the nuts. If they improved the instructions by labelling the guard sections 1-6 on the bags and the photos it would be a simple process. The photos in the instructions do a good job at putting said components in the wrong location so you have to work your way around until you get it in the correct place for all the holes to line up. Once I assembled it with a few washers I found in my tool box it is a really good bit of kit and feels like it will last years, (fingers crossed). It splits logs with ease! BTW- It weighs a ton so try and find a location for it to live and be used from as it won't roll over gravel very easily due to the small solid wheels. ;-) Don't let my review put you off as it is really good value for a solid bit of kit, just make sure you have a few M6 washers to hand for when it arrives or you'll be needing some in the future when the guard pulls the buts through the holes. ;-) Read full review...
