Great film that stands the test of time
A great story with fine actors and super music by Neil Diamond.
No real violence and no foul language, just a good heartwarming tale about a Jewish cantor trying to make it in the pop world.

It's Neil Diamond, what else can I say?
Neil Diamond's voice at it's best, and he is a surprisingly good actor. The storyline is good, but Neil's voice makes the movie. I'll never tire of listening to it. Pleased with the quality of the dvd as well. Read full review

The quality is very poor. There is a label on it that suggests it may have been a rental. There is a chip on the edge but doesn’t interfere with the running of the film. Very disappointed.
