Amazingly boring
The initial scene is bloody. After that, what you get is a lot of talking heads and absolutely no action, attractive women, or even decent acting. You will likely fall asleep. In the end, all of the vampires are wiped out by a single ritual that summons bats. About the only thing I can say that's good is the sets. The men are so boringly British and bland that they're the human personification of beige, including the lead villain. The women aren't much of an improvement, not one of them has any passion or even facial expressions. Seriously, this is one of the most boring flicks I have ever seen. If you want a decent Hammer horror flick, go watch the Dracula series with Christopher Lee, or the Frankenstein series with Peter Cushing.Read full review
