An easy but exciting read

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness is a fun, lightweight book full of excitement.
The writing style takes a bit of getting used to in the beginning, however the author cleverly uses different fonts for Todd's speaking voice and his thought, or his 'Noise'. I never got bored of anything in this book, the storyline moved at a good pace, introducing new characters and new ideas at a pace that was easy to keep up with.
It was by no means a difficult read but it was easy to get lost in. I am looking forward to continuing my journey with Todd as soon as the next book arrives on my doorstep!Read full review...

All hail Patrick Ness...

This was recommended to me by my brother. I am an ex Head of English and have in the course of my work, read hundreds of kids books. This is an amazing read: original, engaging and compulsive. I finished it in three days - the house went to hell, the kids barely fed, then at the end went straight on-line to buy the next two books.
