Very difficult

If you have never played Zelda, then you need to understand this is a tough game! I’ve had to use a walkthrough, which I don’t normal use unless a puzzle for a game is tough. There’s no obvious hints whilst playing this game that you have to make certain dishes to complete a mission or that you need certain items to defeat a boss. A lot of exploring to do, so for anyone who loves open plan game this is for you. Lots to do and see. But as I say, you need a walk through to complete the missions and puzzles. A lot of tactical play to conserve your weapons. I’m still trying to defeat one boss and it is proving hard. I’d recommend this game, if you have a lot of time on your hands especially as you’ll need a walk through. I brought this game second hand, as it is quite expensive brand new and it is more expensive to buy of the Nintendo play store!Read full review...

Fingers Crossed.

Unable to rate this product as I don't have a Nintendo Switch so can't see what it's like. I bought this game to give to my granddaughter for Christmas. I hope it works!! I have just noticed that it is none returnable. Read full review...

Essential switch purchase

This game is deep, so much to do, so much to explore and all in the spirit of the series. Cooking, shrines, wildlife, fighting skirmishes are great additions alongside the main quest. Despite some graphics challenges for switch hardware, it is the wonderful cel shaded artistry that wins out and is genuinely beautiful - balance of realism and the fantasy cartoon style of windwaker. Prepare to get lost in an immense and compelling story, hard battles that teach you to fight.Read full review...

Excellent game

Having played Zelda games since the original NES I missed quite a few inbetween and this is first Zelda game I’ve played since the Wii twilight princess.

It is really excellent dropping you straight into the game with more questions than there are answers. You are always seeking more information and enjoying what you can do along the way with some true open world exploration.

Thoroughly recommend it, also brilliant on switch as can take it on the go as well!

absolute masterpiece

I have never played any of the zelda games before but i heard a lot of this and wanted to give it a try: it is an absolute brilliant game with nice mechanics and a good story line.
Dont expect super graphics as it is still a nintendo switch. I also advise the use of the pro controller or a cheap version of it will do better than the small original pads that the switch comes with. Read full review...

Future classic

Fantastic game, graphics work with, not against the limitations of the hardware, meaning that the cartooney/anime style is limited in textures, yet stunning in scope.
Game play is challenging yet rewarding and the open world feel means you can lose hours at a time on sessions.
Buying switch carts are still ridiculously expensive as they are essentially little branded SD cards, however, loading times are good and overall, apart from the price, there is little to fault with this game.
It is a future classic

Fantastic graphics, very good game.

I got this for my 12 year old boy who had asked me to buy it for him about 1000 times!. at long last we made it a Christmas gift. He loves it, also his brother who is 19 also enjoys it too. It's a good game and it takes a bit of skill and consentration to work through it. Good game. Read full review...

Excellent Zelda title

Absolutely stellar entry in the Zelda series. I’ve played through most of the Zelda games, only missing out a few gameboy and ds titles and I can honestly say this is a close second to Ocarina. Absolutely vast, engrossing, and with a captivating story which keeps you coming back to see where it goes. All the regular Zelda touches are present along with more than a few recurring characters. Graphics are top notch as are the soundscapes. Curiously I found the music a little bland compared to some of the previous majestic scores, but that’s only one very very minor issue in the grand scheme of this epic adventure. Keeps you thinking and is a constant challenge. Loved every minute from start to finish. Highly recommended.Read full review...

Best game ever. The end.

Graphics are good for the Switch but the gameplay and design is next level. It's also massive. I can see why it's voted as the best game ever made in Japan. Sooo good!

is there anything i need to say about this game that hasn't already been said? The best game for the Nintendo switch. Quite literally the best Zelda game since the Snes version. Enjoy :)
