Inspired and Magical

As a somewhat rabid animation fan who collects hard media of what I consider indispensable movies, I'd forgotten how good this production is! The added storyline augments the classic Little Prince with stellar creativity deserving of its core material. The voice-acting of the talents of Jeff Bridges, Ricky Gervais, and more is fun! Utilizing multiple media, including some of the most winsome stop-action I've ever seen, the overall look is fantastic! A contemporary interpretation of a classic novel

Base on the novel The Little Prince, this movie added several contemporary characters, which made the movie very watchable. Yet, it seems the original highlights, such as the adults in different planets (astroids) were missing or not emphasized enough. That's a pity. But I think viewers can watch the original The Little Prince first, and THEN come and watch this one.Read full review
