Science Fiction Fan, Not an Opera Fan

Bought it because I'm a SF fan and was interested and had no idea it was a monotonal torture fest sung in Czech. Obviously there is something about this Opera that is compelling otherwise no one would have bothered to produce it and film it and actually offer DVDs for sale. I am assuming that the lyrics carry the opera well enough, but I couldn't find the subtitles. This is not to say they opera is bad. It's to say that I am silly and stupid and if you don't speak czech, love opera AND enjoy Methusala stories you might want to think twice.Read full review
