My husband and I have not had broadcast or cable television service for over 20 years. Instead we take advantage of DVDs of British historical fiction productions. We have greatly enjoyed this production of “The Musketeers”! Fine horses, lovely countryside, an excellent interpretation of Dumas’ plots and characters, elegant costuming and tasteful humor make this series one I can heartily recommend. Keep up the good work.

After going thru the first season of this series I knew I had to continue on with the story. This is just fun escapist entertainment. Looks great and the action is fun the villains evil, the women seductive and the locations are first rate. Now I am sure I will be looking for the 3rd season.

The Musketeers BBC television series season #2

Great retelling of the Dumas story in television series format!
Note this is a BBC series so at times was somewhat comical to hear Scottish accents from French characters but that was a minor point for our viewers. The stories are interesting and form a character arc over the season so each episode has it's own story and contributes to the arc as well.

Very entertaining.

I loved this series. The best part was that they wrapped everything up at the end. I hate when I watch several seasons and then it just ends with nothing being resolved. This did not do that and it had something for everyone (sword fights, humor, mystery and even romantic interests).
