I have read all of Mr . McCulloug's except one and heve enjoyed them all . This is well researched & interesting as usual howwever it doesn't flow with the same narrative rythym that his books normally do . It's a little chopy as it jumps from one pioneer to another . Hard for me to keep the characters and their relationship to each other & the story line together , though I am only about 1/3 thru it . Hopefully it will all come together .Read full review

Brings back memories

This book is an excellent historical account of the pioneers moving into the Ohio region and being from Ohio, I know about most of the places written about. This book brought back memories from my youth of Ohio History classes.
