Mel Brooks' best movie!

Zero Mostel dominates this outrageous plot with theatrical flair, ably assisted by the then unknown Gene Wilder. It may be 50 years old but Mel Brooks' script is fast and funny. Compared to the VHS version I had previously, this is longer with the bar scene restored to its proper length. Picture quality is good, especially for the opening titles, which used to be a clunky intrusion. In short, buy it!Read full review
