Listen before you buy
Granted not one of their better records however , it’s still good value for money lasting nearly 80 minutes.

Mick Jagger at this best - great one to keep in the car
This is classic Rolling Stones at their best - I bought it after hearing Blinded by Rainbows, an unusual song written by Jagger on the way back from a trip to Northern Ireland which moved him to write on this subject rather than the usual relationship topics. Quite how I'd never heard this album before is strange - it is 18 years old but does not sound dated. There is not a weak track on it from the slow 'Out of Tears', the foot-tapping 'Moon is Up' to my favourite 'Sparks will Fly'. The only odd thing is the title - it seems, at best, arbitrary. Great one to have in the car.Read full review...

WOW!!!
I really wasn't expecting this album to be any good.... Have more or less avoided it since the 90's (as much through the naff cover artwork as anything)... Have been doing a massive amount of 'Stones' backtracking this past several weeks - Though to be honest this one wasn't really high on the agenda.. But it's great... It's a bit of all the Stones styles - country / blues / rock / pop, rolled gently into one... The production is pleasantly understated.. Almost giving large sections of the album a late 60's early 70's feel..
From the very first play you know you are listening to a band and the songwriting team of Jagger/Richards still very much on their game... I love the 2 Keith Richard vocal tracks. and 'Sweethearts Together' is a classic style Stones number..
This album is bargain city.. You should be able to pick up a mint condition copy for under £2... A highly recommended £2 may I add... a classy album++++++ ++++++++Read full review...
Good value Stones with 15 tracks.
It seems like the Stones wanted to give good value for money with their first album for Virgin with 15 tracks here. It could probably have been cut to 10 or 12 to leave out the poorer songs like 'mean disposition'. The tracks that were singles, 'love is strong' and 'you got me rocking' are excellent as are 'suck on the jugular' and 'thru and thru' with Keith and Ronnie's guitars as lovely and as warm as ever. Mick's voice is strong and consistent and Charlie's backbeat solid. I bought it cheaply on ebay because I missed it earlier and would recommend it as a sound buy.Read full review...
