Really good entertainment

This was a surprise as it was better than I remembered it. I was a bit concerned as to how the special effects would come out, however considering the film was made in the 1950s the effects were very well done and believable. It was also a relief that there was a cast of thousands rather than CG. The only criticism and this was due to the time it was made was that the script was a bit hammy but then it was in the 'biblical' style which many of the epics of the time were made. It is 3 hours 40 minutes long with an intermission (second half on a separate disc so you have time to make a cup of tea). The time just flew by. Well worth the money.

Great interpretation of the Bible.

It's actually a movie that I've watched from a younger age than I am now, and I have always wanted to own in my collection, it's a great movie and enjoy it very much being a Christian myself.

Great old film, you can see early Yul Brynner, but the film quality has dated a bit. Rather long as you would expect.
